A JOINT ART LAW SUMMIT
The Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel and The Film Society of the Lincoln Center

Arts Counsel:  The New Navigators of Culture

Creative expression and culture consumption is becoming increasingly interactive in a way that draws the viewer into an immediate, and often a digitally-mediated, sensory experience.  Correspondingly, legal advice to arts organization is now as much about technology and privacy as it is about board governance, tax exemptions, and contracts.  Join a group of attorneys who are navigating new legal and business paradigms to enable their entertainment clients to serve new audiences, and create evolving opportunities in the visual, dramatic and performing arts.  Moderated and introduced by international art lawyer, Alexandra Darraby, leading lawyers from prominent arts organizations share their experiences and challenges in the uncharted ether of interactive media, art and performance.
